Route 1 — Northern via Rozaje border crossing: From Podgorica north through Kolašin and the Bjelasica highland, crossing into Kosovo via the Rozaje / Kula border crossing and descending to Peć / Peja through the spectacular Rugova Canyon. From Peć the road continues southeast through the Kosovo plain to Prishtina (~280 km, ~4.5h). This route offers the most dramatic and most scenic mountain landscape of any Podgorica–Prishtina connection. Route 2 — Southern via Albania: From Podgorica south to the Bozaj border into Albania, continuing through Shkodër and east via Kukës and the Drini canyon road to the Kosovo border at Morinë / Vërmicë and into Prishtina (~340 km, ~4–5h).
