The Komovi massif is one of Montenegro's finest and least-visited mountain landscapes — three dramatic peaks rising above 2,400 metres above the Andrijevica plateau in northeastern Montenegro: Kučki Kom (2,487 m), Vasojevićki Kom (2,461 m), and Lijeva Rijeka Kom (2,163 m). The area offers serious hiking and mountaineering in a remote alpine setting with highland shepherd's huts, glacial cirques, and extraordinary views across to Albania and Kosovo from the summits.
The gateway settlement is Andrijevica, a small highland town 100 km northeast of Podgorica, from which the main Komovi trailheads are accessible by road. The area is part of the Komovi Protected Landscape and remains largely unknown to international visitors — making it one of the most rewarding off-the-beaten-track destinations in Montenegro. TTM picks up from Andrijevica or any Komovi trailhead address.
